Topic: Anger
" Be ye angry and sin not, let not the sun go down upon your wrath"
Ephesians 4:26
One of the worst things we can do in any relationship is to "clam up". Our text tells us that anger is not in itself a sin. It is what we do with that anger that can turn it into sin. One way that can happen is to hold grudges and let anger smoulder into resentment that will eventually turn into violence. We must take care of today's issues today. As a married man, I have learned that issues must be dealt with, and not swept under the rug. But they must be dealt with biblically and in love. Also, once a problem has been dealt with, don't bring it up again! Leave yesterday's issues with yesterday!
