Romans 1:22
“Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,”
Recently I read an article by a so-called Christian "educator" who reasoned throughout the article why he thought a subject was right. This educator used illustrations to reason why he thought he was right; all this to try and prove his point. The sad part was, in his whole article he completely left out the very source of wisdom, the Bible. By the end of the article, this educator who was trying to prove his point ended up showing how foolish he was in his reasoning. Why? Because education without the truth of the Word of God backing it up is just a bunch of babblings.
We must realize that the Bible is the foundation of all truth. Without the Bible you cannot have a solid education. Education without the Bible as its basis is like having a car without an engine. Education without the Bible is like having an airplane without its wings. Education without the Bible is like having a store without any products to sale. Education becomes foolishness if we don't have the Bible as its foundation.
Whenever you are going to try and prove a point, you would be wise to use the Bible as your source of proof instead of trying to use analogies and illustrations as your point. We must realize the Bible is the only thing that validates education. Education without the Bible is pure foolishness.
You might ask yourself how this can be of help to you when you are not an educator. This simple truth can help you if you will realize you have in the Bible the very tool that will help you to be as wise as any educated person who has degrees from a university. In order for the Bible to be of help you, must read It daily. The Bible does you no good sitting on a desk somewhere without you reading It. You may not have the greatest of educations, but inside the pages of the Bible is the wisdom that can educate you, but you must read It. Don't let the Bible be a seldom used book; read It daily realizing that though you may not quite understand everything inside Its pages, It is still influencing your mind and your thinking.
Become a person of the Bible. Be one who reads It daily and uses It as the source from which you get all your beliefs. Be careful not to become an educated fool.
